Hamas, Give Me A Break!

According to a Time Magazine report released last week, Hamas plans to attack American targets in the Middle East. Officials from Hamas apparently discussed the idea during secret meetings in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. The terrorist organization was quoted as saying that it is "running out of patience" with the US and wants to retaliate. The organization was fuming over the Bush administration's efforts to bring down the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority, the Islamist group said. They blamed the US for what they deemed biased support for Israel and pressuring Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas into breaking up the Hamas cabinet.

This came from Vision for Israel.

-------------------------------------------------------------

What Hamas is really mad about is that they are unable to pay the wages of their police and other government officials without US funding.

Since 1993, Palestinians have received more than $1.7 billion in U.S. economic assistance via USAID projects. U.S. organizations, like ANERA, United Palestinian Appeal, AMIDEAST, Kinder USA, the Near East Foundation, Holy Land Christian Ecumenical Foundation, Mercy Corps, and others have worked to repair the infrastructure Israel has crushed over the years. United States economic assistance for the Palestinians has averaged about $85 million per year since Israel and the PLO signed the 1993 Declaration of Principles. Congress wants to ensure that U.S. assistance is used for legitimate humanitarian projects and that no U.S. aid is diverted for military or terrorist use against Israel. United States Aid to the Palestinians provides a description of the aid program and tables with annual amounts for the Palestinians. The report will be updated as necessary. See also CRS Issue Brief IB92052, Palestinians and Middle East Peace: Issues for the United States, updated periodically.

The Palestinian government needs about $1.8 billion in aid each year and officials in the interim government say it is heading for a financial crisis.

I do not understand how Palestine needs 1.8 billion a year in aid and expects to get it when they are led by terrorists.

This just shows how simply insane their government is.

The US gives aid to everybody and it seems that most of them hate the US. So why not stop the aid for a while. I think that they take it for granted and think that the US is weak and wouldn't dare stop the aid. But if they are terrorist the US should not be given any of our tax dollars to them that want to harm us. This is simply common sense. Which is in low supply these days.

Islam and Peace- Another Example

The Voice of the Martyrs - News

The Voice of the Martyrs

On October 2nd at 2:30 p.m., Lorans Wageah Emeel, a 15-year-old Christian girl, was kidnapped by Muslims in the Egyptian city of El Mahala Al Kobra, about 60 miles north of Cairo. The incident was publicized by El Tareek, the only Arabic Christian newspaper in the Middle East. It is reported that the abductors are trying to force Lorans, a student of Saida Nafesa High School in El Mahalla Al Kobra, to deny Christ and accept Islam.

At approximately 10:30 a.m. Cairo time, on October 3rd, the Emeel family gathered around the El Mahala Al Kobra police station, pleading with the officers to return Lorans to them. Her parents accused a Muslim man of kidnapping their daughter at 2:30 in the afternoon and filed a police report at the station.

Under the cover of night at 10:00 on October 3rd, kidnapped Christian teenager, Lorans, managed to escape from her Muslim captors, who drugged and threatened to rape her if she refused Islam, before abducting her from a public bus, according to Compass Direct. While the terrorists were taking a break from a Ramadan fast, Lorans broke out of her detention room located in Helwan, a suburb just south of Cairo. It is also reported that Lorans’ father received the following text messages during the abduction: “The girl is not accepting easily, but she will embrace Islam for sure,” and “Take the rest of your daughters and leave the city, or you will lose them one by one.” Prior to reuniting with her family, State Security Investigation officials told Lorans that if she did not deny the kidnapping, she would never see her parents again.

The kidnapping of Christian teenage girls in Muslim nations has reached into the thousands. Many are forced through physical violence to convert to Islam. Other girls are often lured into becoming Muslims with promises of material wealth. The Voice of the Martyrs sponsors safe houses in Islamic countries to protect Christian teenage girls who have been threatened with or have escaped from abduction. These Christian refuges are also places where young women learn job skills and receive spiritual training.

----------------------------------------------------------

It is a good thing that Islam is a religion of peace. I would not want to see it if it were of hate.

This is more proof, if there is any needed, to show that Islam is not of the one and only true God. The God of love through His Son Jesus Christ.

There are many people in the United States that are turning to the Islam faith. This is the work of the devil himself. The devil will do anything to pull people away from true salvation of Jesus Christ.

Being politically correct is not always in our best interest. We need to say it like it is.

If Islam is trully a religion of peace, where is the peace?

I do not want the response, well these are extreme muslims. With our faith in Christ we have many, many different organizations. Yes, and some called extreme. But what we do not have is the violence, the killing, the kidnappings, the beheadings, on, and on, and on. Without regard for any human life at all. Men, Women, children, old, young, cripled, it does not matter to them.

Muslims even use human shields by putting their rockets and militia in and around homes of suvilians.

Any one that has a lick of sense can see through the peaceable religion part.

I call for all Muslims to turn to Jesus Christ and become saved through Him so that they may obtain everlasting life without having to kill themselves.

Turn to peace and love for others no matter who they might be. It is the only way.

Try it you'll like it, you'll love it!

UN meeting to decide N Korea sanctions | NEWS.com.au

THE five permanent members of the UN Security Council and Japan met today to hammer out the terms of a resolution imposing sanctions on North Korea for its nuclear weapons programme.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Yea right! Even if they do sanction N Korea, what exacly would it change?

There are so many things that the U.N. has passed with nothing followed through with one more will not matter. They will still get their money whether anything is done or not.

It is a good thing that we have the United Nations to turn to! :{

California State Court of Appeals Upholds Ban on Homosexual "Marriage" Reversing a 2005 Ruling by a San Francisco Trial Judge
On Wednesday the 1st District Court of Appeal in California upheld the state of California's definition of marriage as the union between a man and a woman. This was the third straight defeat for the radical homosexual movement which is pushing for homosexual "marriage." The court reversed a decision issued in March 2005 by a San Francisco trial judge allowing homosexual "marriages." The 1st District Court of Appeal agreed with the state's attorney general who argued that it was up to the California state legislature and not the courts to decide the definition of marriage.

The court said in a 2-1 decision, "We conclude California's historical definition of marriage does not deprive individuals of a vested fundamental right or discriminate against a suspect class. The time may come when California chooses to expand the definition of marriage to encompass same-sex unions. That change must come from democratic processes, however, not by judicial fiat."

In 2004, four radical judges on Massachusetts top court, dictated in a 4-3 decision, that homosexuals must be allowed to "marry" which created a nation-wide revulsion resulting so far in 20 states, by an average of 71%, passing state constitutional amendments banning homosexual "marriages." There will be 8 more states next month passing such constitutional amendments with a probable average of 70% plus voters saying no to homosexual "marriages."

On November 7th, there will be a total of 28 states whose voters have overwhelmingly supported traditional marriage, only 10 states shy of the 38 states needed to ratify a federal constitutional amendment when it passes in the United States Congress. Thus far many Members of Congress, mostly Democrats, are ignoring the overwhelming majority of voters in their states and are voting against the federal constitutional amendment banning homosexual "marriages." It is anticipated that some of these Members of Congress will be swept from office this November and in future elections which will result in the eventual passage of such a federal constitutional amendment. It is important that Christian Coalition supporters in the following states get their neighbors out to vote on Tuesday, November 7th for the state constitutional amendments banning homosexual "marriages": Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin.

Colorado Republican Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave's amendment to the United States Constitution banning homosexual "marriage" passed by a margin of 236-187 on July 18th, a 9 vote improvement over the previous vote. To pass a constitutional amendment in the House, 2/3 of those voting need to vote for it (291 votes.)

However, in the United States Senate which needs 67 Senators to vote for a constitutional amendment, Senator Wayne Allard, R-CO, received the votes of only 49 Senators in a 49-48 vote for his Marriage Protection Amendment. Two Republican Senators when they were up for reelection in 2004 (Arlen Specter, Pennsylvania and Judd Gregg, New Hampshire) voted for the marriage amendment, but this year voted against the amendment. The other 5 Republican Senators voting against the amendment to ban homosexual "marriages" were Senators John McCain, Arizona, John Sununu, New Hampshire, Susan Collins, Maine, Olympia Snowe, Maine, and Lincoln Chafee, Rhode Island.

In a related matter, the United States Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to consider a challenge by the radical homosexual movement to overturn the federal Defense of Marriage Act which is just the latest in a long string of court decisions upholding the ban on homosexual "marriages." The Supreme Court basically agreed with the decision by the United States District Judge Gary Taylor, who dismissed the case by the homosexual movement in 2005 (filed by a homosexual couple demanding they be allowed to marry.)

Dr. David S. C. Chu, Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness Receives First Annual "Patsy" Award as the Official Whom Radical Feminists Have Used Most Often to Impose Their Policies on the Men and Women of the Military
Christian Coalition of America was represented yesterday at a Conference sponsored by the Center for Military Readiness (CMR), headed by President Elaine Donnelly, who was a member of the 1991-1992 presidential commission on women in combat, selected by President George H. W. Bush. At the CMR reception which followed the conference, Dr. David S. C. Chu was awarded the first annual CMR "Patsy" Award for being the official whom radical feminists have used to impose their policies on the men and women of the military. These policies include ignoring the laws passed by Congress to keep women from collocating and serving with all-male combat units in Iraq and other hotspots.

The other finalists for the first annual CMR "Patsy Award" were the West Point English Department for giving an award to a cadet who wrote a poorly-written research paper advocating the recruitment of homosexuals into the military; the Secretary of the Army, Francis J. Harvey, for refusing to stop the illegal collocating of women troops into male infantry combat units, etc. made illegal by the United States Congress; and finally Vice Admiral Rodney P. Rempt, Superintendent at the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis for continuing to use double standards for women midshipmen and male midshipmen in numerous ways including in judicial proceedings. Also during the CMR reception, Janet Parshall of "Janet Parshall's America," one of the most popular radio talk show hosts in America, received the "CMR Spotlight Award" for 2006 for her support for the United States military.

Kansas Republican Senator Sam Brownback Blocks the Nomination of Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Janet T. Neff to a Seat on the U.S. District Court in Michigan's Western District, Because She Reportedly Helped Lead a Commitment Ceremony by a Homosexual Couple in 2002
Christian Coalition of America commends Senator Sam Brownback for stalling the nomination of Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Janet T. Neff to a seat on the United States District Court in Michigan's Western District, because whe reportedly helped lead a commitment ceremony for a lesbian couple four years ago. Senator Sam Brownback, R-KS, said last Friday that he wants to know whether there was anything illegal or improper about the ceremony performed in Massachusetts.

According to an Associated Press report, Senator Brownback wants to know if she presided over "an illegal marriage ceremony" that skirted Massachusetts law, which did not recognize homosexual "marriage" at the time in 2002, and he wants to question her about her views on homosexual "marriage" and how her actions may shape her judicial philosophy. Senator Brownback cited recent instances in California and New York where local officials illegally issued "marriage" licenses to homosexual couples contrary to existing laws. Senator Brownback said, "I don't know what she did. That's why there's a factual question." He has asked the United States Justice Department for a formal legal opinion in addition to asking Judge Janet Neff specific questions.

North Carolina Republican Congressman Walter Jones Questions the Internal Revenue Service for Probing a Liberal Church Regarding its Political Ties
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is investigating whether a liberal church -- the All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena, California, one of the largest Episcopal churches in the Country -- violated the prohibition of tax-exempt organizations intervening in election campaigns by supporting or opposing candidates. The retired rector of the church, the Rev. George Regas, returned to the pulpit just days before the November 2004 election and blasted the Iraq war as well as politicians who opposed abortion or anti-poverty programs. Rev. Regas insisted he was not telling the congregation how to vote even though he excoriated "conservative politicians with the blessing of the religious right."

Ironically, a conservative elected official has taken up Rev. Regas' and his church's cause. North Carolina Republican Congressman Walter Jones, the author of the "Houses of Worship Free Speech Restoration Act," H.R. 235, said about the IRS' harassment of the All Saints Episcopal Church, "This is absolutely an infringement on free speech in our houses or worship." Congressman Jones has accused the IRS of trying to intimidate churches with their investigation.

Christian Coalition of America Urges Supporters to Contact the Federal Communication Commission to Register Official Complaints Against NBC and My Network TV, For Scripting Obscenities During Prime Time Television Hours
NBC and My Network TV is openly defying the law and the United States Congress by scripting illegal obscenities into their prime time television series. For example, NBC has scripted the word "t*ts" into their October 5th broadcast of ER which airs at 9:00 in the Central and Mountain Time Zones. My Network TV broadcasting network has scripted the word "sh*t" into their September 21st broadcast of their prime time soap opera, Desire. This incident occurred during the 9:00 p.m. hour on the East and West coasts, but during the 8 p.m. hour in the Central and Mountain Time Zones.

Children are most likely to be watching during the hours that NBC and My Network TV aired these shows. Earlier this year the United States Congress passed a bill which increased fines for indecency in broadcasting from $32,500 per violation to $325,000 per violation. Christian Coalition supporters must contact the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to ensure that these networks are fined (along with each of their local stations which aired this offending material.) The television networks must be stopped as they continue to illegally push the envelope on obscenity and indecency on television.

ACTION: Contact the Federal Communications Commission to register your strong complaint against NBC and My Network TV for violating the indecency standards and urge them to use issue strong fines against these networks and their local stations. The FCC phone number is: 202-418-1000 or you can go to www.fcc.gov to register your complaint or write to them at: 445 12th Street, SW, Washington D.C. 20554.

Christian Coalition of America Encourages Americans to see "One Night with the King" This Weekend
Christian Coalition of America is pleased to support the opening of the new movie "One Night with the King", produced by Matt and Laurie Crouch. This epic motion picture is based on the novelization of the Book of Esther and will open nationwide in all fifty states. "This is story of a true woman of courage who had a God-given purpose and destiny and risked everything to save her people," says Roberta Combs, Chairman of the Christian Coalition of America. Esther was but an orphan minority living in a foreign land, and yet God transformed her from a peasant to a princess who would ultimately become the deliverer of her people.

The vision of the film is to tell a story that will hopefully inspire a generation to embrace the destiny that God has for them. Christian Coalition encourages everyone to support this wonderful family-oriented film so that Hollywood will be sent a message that this country would like to see more films of encouragement and clean messages of hope.

Action Items:

  1. Encourage your friends, family and church members to attend the movie over the weekend.
  2. Call the theatres and thank them for showing family friendly movies. If the movie is not being shown in your area, encourage your local theatres to show the movie. Also, you can visit 8x.com to see where the movie is being played in your area.
  3. Call the local Christian radio and television stations and encourage them to see the movie and encourage others to attend.

Christian Coalition Activists need to continue to Press during Lame-duck session for Action Needed to Pass Both "Net Neutrality" and "Multicast/Equal Access" Legislation to Prevent Discrimination Against Religious Broadcasters
The United States Senate is debating "Net Neutrality," and may during the November and December lame-duck session, an issue extremely important to America's grassroots organizations and those Americans who want to ensure the cable and phone companies controlling access to the Internet will not discriminate against groups like Christian Coalition of America. The Senate Telecom bill must be defeated if "Net Neutrality" legislation is not included in the bill.

If "Net Neutrality" legislation does not pass, consumers will have to pay an additional fee to have a website. The cable/telephone monopoly will be dividing the Internet into a "fast track" and "slow track." Our grassroots, who cannot afford the additional fees, will have to be on the slow track, which will mean that many of our websites will be passed by because the general public will not have the patience to go on the "slow track".

In addition, if a Board member on an Internet Service Provider (cable/telephone monopoly) does not like Christian Coalition of America emails, they can and will block our emai ls from going out over their server. The Senate telecom bill as it is written will harm us from getting our message out. We cannot let the cable/telephone monopoly control the Internet and content.

"Multicast/Equal Access" (formerly called "Multicast/Must-carry") will go a long way to preventing discrimination against religious broadcasters. Without a "Multicast/Equal Access" law, the cable and satellite companies would probably not add new Christian channels and the influence of current Christian channels will be diluted.

Please continue to ask your representatives to support “Multicast/Equal Access” and religious broadcasters. Call your Congressman and 2 Senators at 202-225-3121 or you can go to http://www.cc.org/contactcongress.cfm and email them and let them know we need a “Multicast/Equal Access” Amendment to the Telecom bill. Also, ask your 2 Senators to support "Net Neutrality" in the Telecom bill.

Please sign our petition and join the Faith & Family Television Task Force at http://www.cc.org/taskforce.cfm encourage your family, friends and church friends to also sign the petition at our website join the Christian Coalition’s Judicial Task Force, which is dedicated to ending the obstruction of the President's judicial nominees and ensuring that they ALL receive a fair "up or down" vote by the full Senate. There are a number of President Bush's Circuit Court of Appeals' nominees who have not yet received a Senate floor vote. You will become part of a team of individuals who are committed to being ready on a moment’s notice to take action when obstruction occurs.

Please keep the above issues in prayer. Through prayer and action great and mighty things can be accomplished.

Psalm 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord…”

Please be sure to forward this message on to as many people as possible!

Here is what we can expect if the liberals win:

The strategy of the liberals is to get Values Voters so disgusted and discouraged that they will not vote. If that happens, the liberals will have achieved their goal and they will be running our country.

Here is what we can expect if the liberals win:

  • Amnesty for 12,000,000 illegal immigrants.
  • A push to make homosexual marriage and polygamy legal in all 50 states.
  • Only liberal judges will be appointed. They will create laws to implement the social agenda liberals cannot get passed through the legislative process.
  • Liberals will make the killing of the unborn more difficult to stop.
  • Liberals will continue to try to rid our society of Christian influence, including any reference to God in our Pledge and on our currency.
  • A return to the "Fairness Doctrine" in broadcasting where opposing views must be given equal time. Every conservative talk show host will be forced to give a liberal equal time on every issue. The purpose of this rule will be to shut down conservative talk shows.
  • An increase in taxes to push new social programs.
  • Passing a new "hate crimes" law making it illegal to refer to homosexuality in a negative manner.
  • Liberals will give terrorists from other countries who try to kill Americans the same rights American citizens enjoy under our constitution.
  • We will withdraw from Iraq, sending the message to the terrorists that if they will just be patient they can win and bring their terrorist acts to the U.S.

Go Vote! Encourage Others To Do The Same.

Let's Start Over

Our government needs a total overhaul. Starting from the very top, federally, to the magistrates of each county of the states. There has been to many of the same people doing these jobs for way to long.

The government as a whole is a wasteful organization. If there where any business acting like they are they would be out of business.

We need fresh people with new ideas and a new way to look at our country. And I do not mean to simply add more people to support the people that are already there. I mean lets get rid of every body that has held a political position and get some non-politicians in there to run our country.

Neither the House or Congress can get along long enough to get a substantial amount of work done. But they do not miss out on a pay raise.

I truly would consider voting for Oprah Winfrey for president. I am not saying it is just a problem in the presidency, but that would be starting at the top.

The money that is spent on political races is unimaginable. This money could feed the hungry all around the world.

What are people thinking about? Where are their priorities? Where are their morals?

And the media goes on and on and on and on and on, you get the idea, on any subject they come up with. They absolutely run all events into the ground. Move on would you? They have ten or twelve separate news sections within a day and they all have to get their two cents worth in. Why would they not cover something else throughout the day. There has got to be other news on this big round earth other than the same old trash. If it is something new on an event report it but don't give us 152 ways of telling the same story, please.
