CAIRO, Egypt — A top Taliban commander claims that Al Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden is alive and directed the attack in February against a U.S. base in Afghanistan during a visit by Vice President Dick Cheney, according to an interview aired Wednesday on Al-Jazeera.

There has to be something going on between bin laden and the U.S. or he would have been taken out a long time ago. No one can tell me that the U.S. does not know exactly where bin laden is. It may not be bin laden and the U.S. but it is someone that is benefiting from bin laden still alive.

A Big Waste of Tax Payers Money! That is exactly what this is.

Congressional correspondent Sharyl Attkisson explained: “Think of it not so much as a real debate with a real chance of changing anything in the war on Iraq. It's more of a political dare -- a nonbinding resolution that Republicans are putting to a vote, calling for the U.S. to stand firm in Iraq and the war on terror, and who in their right mind would vote against that?”

Do they not have an extremely long list of items that they could actually pass to do some good in this country? I do not understand a lot of things but it seems that if the, so called, leaders of this nation are debating on a non-binding resolution does that not look like pure bipartisan politics at its highest? And the news channels are all over it like it is really going to do something. The only news about this is the total and complete waste of money, time, and their priorities being wasted.

COME ON PEOPLE THIS IS NOT A TEST. YOU ARE NOT IN SCHOOL ANYMORE. YOU ARE RUNNING THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. ACT LIKE IT. AND YOU NEWS OUTLETS, CAN WE GET SOME PRESSURE ON THESE PEOPLE AND YOUR BOSSES TO REALIZE THE WASTE THAT THIS IS.

It would be a totally different matter if you could actually impeach anybody. BUT HERE IS A NEWS ALERT YOU CAN'T.

Workplaces Are Miserable

There are so many work places today that do not care about their workers in more ways than one. Whether they totally ignore them, do not give any raises, or say that their health care is going up, or have them work in unsafe conditions, it doesn't matter. I had a co-worker killed in a factory because of faulty equipment. You might as well be paying for your health care anyway because it is just as high working for a company that supplies what they want to.
It is kind of like working a MLM. All the ones on top keep getting richer while the ones doing the work keep getting poorer. Minimum wage is going to catch up to those that have been in factory job for five years or less.
