They claim to be defenders of the defenseless, but that
simply isn’t true. The American Civil Liberties Union
is no friend of our nation or its people.

The ACLU is openly attacking our faith, religious freedom,
family values and the founding principles that have
defined our nation for more than two hundred years.

And the worst part is, most Americans have no idea as
to the true motivation and intent of the ACLU. The real
ACLU was founded by Roger Baldwin who said, "We (the ALCU)
are for socialism, disarmament and ultimately for
abolishing the state itself... we seek the social ownership
of property... and the sole control of those who produce
wealth. Communism is the goal."

True to their founder’s words, the ACLU has lined their
coffers with untold millions doing just that!

The ACLU doesn't support traditional marriage, or the family.
Instead they defend drug dealers, registered sex offenders,
and those who distribute child pornography!

The ACLU doesn't stand for the rights of believers to
freely worship. Instead they are aggressively working
to prevent faith-based ministries from publicly sharing
the Gospel.

Their policies are undermining our nation--pushing a
radical agenda that supports polygamy, child pornography,
infanticide, gun control and more.

Now, given a new liberal-led Congress, we expect that the
ACLU will be emboldened with confidence to exact an even
greater toll on our freedoms.

Grassfire doesn't believe it has to be this way.

In fact by partnering with Liberty Counsel,
one of the nation's pre-eminent legal defense organizations,
grassroots citizens eager to see their First Amendment
Rights preserved, have a voice!

But that's not all. Liberty Counsel is beating the ACLU in
courtrooms across the land.

The deception that is the ACLU has been exposed, but we
need a strong grassroots component of citizens who are
actively sharing that message to friends, family,
neighbors--and the millions of citizens who are being
deceived.

Quran for courtroom oaths gets green light, lawsuit by ACLU, Muslim woman

A ruling from a state appeals court has reopened a case prompted because a Muslim woman wanted to use a Quran – a book that an expert on Islam says allows Muslims to lie under compulsion – on which to swear her oath of honesty in a court hearing. The lawsuit was filed by Sydiah Mateen with help from the American Civil Liberties Union in 2005 after she was denied permission to use a Quran to take the courtroom oath in a case in North Carolina.

This is a very good point made above. This woman wants to swear to tell the truth on a book that tells them to lie! How outrages is this and the ACLU?

In recent months, Grassfire has witnessed the reign of terror that
the ACLU has exacted on Americans--aggressively working to
strip away our religious freedom.

From the Pledge of Allegiance to the Ten Commandments, to
prayer, the ACLU is the nation's foremost censor of religious
freedom. They have effectively manipulated our very founding
principles to repress religious liberty.

But it doesn't end there.

ACLU policies and goals are destroying America's fabric by
pushing a radical agenda that supports polygamy, child
pornography, infanticide, gun control and more.

Despite their claim to be great defenders of liberty, they are
actually defending terrorists, molesters and murderers while
attacking honest, hard-working, principled Americans.

How can a grassroots organization defeat a giant like the ACLU?

Grassfire has teamed with the Liberty Counsel, one of the
nation's foremost legal organizations committed to protecting
our nation's traditional values and religious liberties--the very
principles that the ACLU opposes!

We have teamed with the Liberty Counsel because they have
already proven they can defeat the ACLU in the courts--a forum
that frankly isn't our area of expertise.

But in the court of public opinion, and rallying a nation to action,
we have few peers. That is why we are sounding the rally cry to
grassroots citizens-urging them to help us expose the ACLU for
what they really are--an anti-American organization with deep
roots in socialism and Communism.
