Obama, McCain, Fox News, And One News Now

This poll should have been worded different. It gives the impression that Fox News is against Obama. And when you get right down to it I think that Fox is starting to play the game, not as bad as the other networks, but still is getting drawn into trying to take up for McCain. He needs more unbiased coverage but it is not the job of Fox to take it to far to the right.

The media needs to stick with the facts and leave the biased comments to the public.

My opinion is that most people that watch Fox News is watching it to get the news reported as it should be. But it is a slippery slop when questions like the ones in this poll are asked like this.

Let me state that the poll I am referring to is at http://www.onenewsnow.com/ not Fox.

A poll like this one on another news organization replacing Obama with McCain would get the same response. The only difference McCain would be where Obama is in this one. And Fox News would be replaced with the other news organization

One other point to make is that this poll is like most of of the other ones taken anywhere. There are only 27083 responses out of a population of 301,139,947 in the U.S. (July 2007 est.)

This is only 9% of the population of the U.S.

So tell me, how could any of these polls, on any station, really give anyone any type of useful information?

I am right and everyone else is stupid in the persons opinion that does polls like this. Take a deep breath. Breath in the nose and out the mouth. Calm down and regroup.

Here are the results so far.

Voters watch FOX News because they do not support Barack Obama - 88.68%
Voters do not support Barack Obama because they watch Fox News - 11.32%
27083 responses

This poll is at http://www.onenewsnow.com/

I would like to personally thank them for this useless information. Like we don't get enough information that is not worth the time to read or to watch on T.V.

Thanks Again

Palin On Gay Marriage Amendment

You Go Girl!!

This is what we need. Straight talk, with all of the pun I can put in this.
The following is from
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081021/ap_on_el_pr/palin_gay_marriage

NEW YORK – Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin says she supports a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, a break with John McCain who has said he believes states should be left to define what marriage is. In an interview with Christian Broadcasting Network, the Alaska governor said she had voted in 1998 for a state amendment banning same sex marriage and hoped to see a federal ban on such unions.

Letter from Patty Compean wife of imprisoned border agent

From the Desk of:Steve Elliott, Grassfire.org Alliance

Dear Mr. Elliott,

Thank you so much for your continued support. I must tell you
that the children and I are hanging in there. Our last visit
with Jose was a very good one, although I couldn’t help but
wonder how our youngest, who is now 2 years old would react to Jose.

Even though he's never met Jose and has very little connection
with him, I try to make sure that both our boys don't forget who
their dad is. I show him pictures of his dad and constantly tell
him that Jose is his dad.

When that time of the month comes for our 15-minute call, I
always make certain he hears Jose's voice. I’m happy to report
that my efforts seem to be blessed because during this last
visit, my young son knew Jose was his dad. My heart nearly
burst when he called him dad and gave him a hug. These tiny
moments are the ones that we savor because unlike so many
others, they are all we have right now.

This last visit was such a blessing because it was our first
as a family since his incarceration, and Jose was able to
spend some quality time as father to his kids.

It has been tough. Jose, the kids and I are still trying to cope
with leaving him behind. I've got to admit, it doesn't get any
easier. In fact, it seems to get worse with every visit because
it's a cold reminder of how much time has been lost. These
precious family moments can’t be returned or relived. That's
the hardest part.

This truth is especially tough on Jose. When he turned himself
in to authorities, our children where 12, 2 and 3 months old.
Now they are 14, 4, and 2. He's already missed the first baby
steps, words, graduation from diaper to potty and my oldest son's
first dance. Unless there’s a miracle, Jose will have missed a
whole lot more.

But we are pressing on day by day. My goal right now is to get
the family to a place where no matter what happens we will be
okay. In other words, if Jose is released but can't find a job,
or if he’s forced to serve his whole sentence we will be taken
care of. That's a pressing concern, but it’s also something I
don't want Jose worrying about. I will make sure that I can
provide for us so that he doesn't have to worry about it. It's
my burden, and I'm happy to take it from him.

A few personal notes, Jose is able to shower daily since he has
a shower in his "suite" and the times he's needed medical attention
he's gotten it. I do know that he has several pen pals and is
receiving letters, cards, pictures and reading material from
many Grassfire team members. He specifically wanted me to thank
the team for their continued support and prays that it continues.

We all covet your prayers, and pin our hopes on the day when he is
returned to us!

Thanks again for all you are doing to help us.

Patty

Don't Forget Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean

Two U.S. Border Patrol Agents are serving decade longprison terms for attempting to apprehend a known drugsmuggler for illegally crossing our border with more than 700lbs. of drugs! Almost as outrageous is that the illegal alien drugsmuggler, who was given free medical care, and immunityfor testifying against the agents is now suing the U.S. for$5 million--claiming his civil rights were violated! I have just signed a petition calling for the Presidentto pardon these two Border Agents and I'm asking you tojoin with me by clicking here for the full story and the petition:http://www.grassfire.org/142/petition.asp?PID=12080678&NID=1

Thanks!
